Testimony Two
--- You Shall Receive Power ---
"And being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me." (Acts 1.4)
"For John truly baptized with water: but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence." (Acts 1.5)
"But ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: And ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." (Acts 1.8)
"And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the Lord your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed. And it shall come to pass afterward , that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my Spirit." (Joel 2.27-29)
"And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in The Remnant whom the Lord shall call." (Joel 2.32) (Read Joel Chapter 2 and Acts Chapters 1, 2)
The Lord first revealed himself to me when I was 3 years old, on Christmas Eve.
On February 23, 1976, the Spirit of ALMIGHTY GOD, JESUS, CREATOR of the heaven and earth came to me in my bedroom. I knelt by my bed, and committed my body, my mind, and my soul to my KING and MESSIAH − the LORD JESUS CHRIST.
Almost immediately, I began to read and study The Holy Bible with an unquenchable thirst, and to fast and pray with much weeping and great travail. Shortly thereafter, the LORD spoke to me and said "For behold, I have sent you as a Prophet unto this people." The Spirit of the LORD came upon me as in Joel Chapter 2, and the book of Acts, and I was filled with the manifestation of the power of GOD.
The calling as a Prophet / Prophetess has been to pray, fast, and intercede for America against its SIN, and calling people to repentance and to holiness according to 2 Chronicles 7.14 in a capacity much like Anna (Luke 2. 36,37), and to prophesy as the Holy Spirit gave me utterance. The Office of a Prophet has been confirmed by 4 witnesses, years and miles apart from one another. (see "TESTIMONY ONE" for complete testimony.)
"YOU SHALL RECEIVE POWER"
- After the Lord Jesus "saved me" I started reading 4-5 chapters of the Bible every day, and praying 4-5 hours every day --- often praying and singing for many hours. A couple of weeks after my salvation, I awoke one morning with a great "bubbling" joy in my heart, and called a close friend of mine. She invited me to her home for prayer and fellowship. She said she would pray first, and that I should pray when I desired. When I prayed, I opened my mouth and began speaking in tongues − in a strange language!! I had absolutely no idea what was happening, and had never heard or read the book of Acts; but tears of joy filled my eyes, and wonderment filled my heart. It turned out that my friend was an "Intercessor" and knew exactly what was happening. She gave me two Bible tracts on the "Baptism of the Holy Spirit." I prayed for the Lord to teach me according to Ephesians 1.17,18, and read the book of Acts. I also read all the scriptures in both tracts !! I still read almost 2 Chapters of the Bible every day.
- I had been invited to a ladies home prayer and fellowship meeting. We began singing hymns and songs as the Holy Spirit would lead us . I loved to sing to the Lord! At one point, I suddenly was aware that I was the only one singing, and that I was singing in my "heavenly language." I immediately stopped! Another lady interpreted it in English. I found out that all the ladies there were called as "Intercessors" and that they had spiritually discerned that the Lord had given me a "Prophesy" to speak in tongues, but the interpretation was given to another lady (1 Corinthians 14.27). As time went on and I grew spiritually as the Lord guided me and taught me, I prophesied in small and large fellowships and churches within the body of Christ, as the Holy Spirit gave me utterance.
- One evening as I was getting ready for bed, I noticed a large boil on my leg, that appeared suddenly overnight. I was greatly upset, as I was going on vacation with my family and would not be able to go swimming. Almost immediately a scripture came to my mind − "...Paul prayed, layed his hands on him and healed him" (Acts 28.8) I reverently reminded the Lord of his Word, layed my hands on the boil and prayed for it to be healed in the name of Jesus. When I awoke the next morning it was completely gone − healed!!
- One evening I was popping corn in the kitchen. I walked into my family room while barefoot, and jammed my foot into the edge of the wall dividing the rooms. The loud "crack" of my 2 small toes and tremendous excruciating pain told me I had broken my bones. A friend got me some crutches in my condo unit, and set me up with ice as I elevated my leg and called the doctor. (A good Registered Nurse would do this!). Because of the lateness of the hour and knowing some chaos on weekend nights in the emergency rooms − I was to go to the doctor’s office early in the morning since the broken bones did not go through the skin. The pain was so severe, I could not even touch my foot on the floor at all, and had to use the crutches. Later in bed, foot elevated and iced, I began to cry. How could I drive a car or work? How long would I be off work? What about my finances? Then the Lord spoke to me and said "you didn’t pray! " I humbly, obediently laid hands on my foot and prayed for the Lord to heal my foot in the name of Jesus. The next morning, I could hobble very slightly on my foot. As I waited in the doctor’s office with my crutches − I felt absolutely stupid! The longer I waited, the better I could walk! I went home and went to bed. In the evening while I walked my dog, I praised my Jesus and marveled in the awesome power of my God, that the broken bones of my toes were totally healed. Tears filled my eyes.
- Early one morning, around 3a.m. I was suddenly awakened by the blood-curdling screams of my 8 year son. I jumped out of bed and rushed into his bedroom. As he continued to scream, he was thrashing back and forth in bed, holding his hands over his head and ears. His eyes were rolled back in his head. The Lord immediately told me that demons were causing this. I began to speak to the demons / evil spirits and commanded them to come out of my son with the power of the Holy Ghost within me in the name of Jesus Christ. (Acts 4.10,12 / Colossians 3.17) After a time he suddenly threw himself across the bed and "he was as one dead." (Mark 9.17-29) (As a Registered Nurse and Nursing Instructor, my flesh kicked in.) I almost said aloud, "Dear God, he’s had a cerebral hemorrhage!) About then, my son looked up at me and said "Mommy, what happened? I told him evil spirits, demons had caused this. I then had him pray very carefully and specifically after me − for Jesus to now fill him with his Holy Spirit, power, love, and peace that passes understanding.(Matthew 12.25-45)
- My small, 8 year old son had been misbehaving. He was becoming rebellious, and needed a spanking. He started to fight me, and was yelling and screaming at me. He grabbed my arm and pulled me to the floor. All of a sudden he jumped up and ran to the wooden ladder at the bottom of his wooden bunk bed. He picked up the ends of the ladder and pulled the ladder apart. Instantly realizing by the Holy Spirit that demonic, evil spirits within him were now manifesting themselves, (Luke 8.2,3,30-39), the power of the Holy Spirit rose up within me, and I verbally called out to the evil spirits and commanded them to come out of my son in the powerful name of Jesus Christ − while backing him into a corner in his bedroom. His facial expressions became ugly, and grotesque as his arms and hands began to become deformed in shape. I continued to "bind the spirits" and command them to come out of him in the name of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 12.22-30 / Mark 3.27 / Luke 11.24-26.) His whole body was now beginning to writhe like a snake, and he was slowly slipping down to the floor. Now sitting on the floor in the corner of his bedroom, he quietly became totally limp and unconscious. I raised my hands toward heaven and quietly praised and thanked my Jesus for healing my small, precious little boy and setting him free from the power of Satan. After a few minutes my son awakened, and said "Mommy what happened?" I told him evil spirits were after him. I then had him pray very carefully and specifically after me for the Lord Jesus to fill him with the Holy Spirit, his power, love, and peace. Why / how could these spirits have entered into my son? Almost 35-40 years later, I found out that my precious little boy had been raped and molested one day by a man behind his elementary school. The evil spirits within this evil man had entered into my son. The power of the Holy Spirit within me healed him by delivering / casting out the evil spirits. The Bible is filled with scripture describing our Lord Jesus Christ as our "Deliverer" and healer. (Psalm 18.2 / Psalm 40.17 / Psalm 144.1,2 ) PLEASE NOTE: For centuries, the Apostles, Disciples ( Godly, holy servants) prayed and "delivered" people from demons / evil spirits. Most of them were referred to as "Deliverance Ministeries." The Bible is very clear. Those who considered themselves "Exorcists," were not Godly, holy servants of the Lord Jesus Christ: In Acts 19.13-16: "Then certain of the vagabond Jews, Exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. And the evil spirits answered said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew and chief of the Priests that did so. And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded." As Bible believing Christians, we should never call ourselves "exorcists" We "deliver" and "cast out"demons / evil spirits in the "name of Jesus Christ" (Acts 10.11,12 / Colossians 3.17) "....The Disciples were called Christians first in Antioch" (Acts 11.26)
- In 2002, my brother had cancer of his prostate gland, and had radical surgery. The cancer had spread outside his prostate, but John Hopkins did not give any radiation or chemo therapy following his cancer surgery. Eight months later, the cancer had spread to his right kidney and his kidney was removed in May, 2002. I went to his home for a visit a few month’s later, and my brother and his wife were extremely fearful and upset due to severe lower abdominal pain. They felt that they were staring death in the face. Shortly after dinner my brother said: "Sis, I’d like you to lay hands on me and pray for me." I told him I would do more than that − I would anoint him with oil, then lay hands on him and pray for him as the Bible tells us in James 5.13-16. We went into their bedroom − my sister-in-law sat in a chair and my brother laid down on their bed. As I opened the bottle of oil, my brother looked up at me and said: " I know you have the power in you to heal me." (Matthew 16.17) "I’m glad you said that!" - (As I raised my other hand up to heaven). "It is not me that can heal you, but it is the power of Jesus Christ within me that heals you" It is now July, 2008. My brother remains free of cancer. He has been healed!!
YOU SHALL RECEIVE POWER
"And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: And, finding certain Disciples, he said unto them Have ye received the Holy Ghost since you believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there by any Holy Ghost. And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye
baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism. Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is on Christ Jesus. And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came upon them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. And all the men were about twelve." (Acts 19.1-7) (Acts 8.14-17) (1 Corinthians 14.37-40).
"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues: They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover." (Mk 16.15-18)
"Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness;..." (Isaiah 5.20)
